New year, lower price and Amadeo update

We wish all our readers a good and happy New Year 2009. Amadeo progressed a lot during this past month: electric and plumbing installation is completely done as well as the light concrete screed on top of the floor installation. Only color remain to be put on the facade and inside plaster has been started. Eventually, everybody took a break for Christmas. We are now back for the last effort before completion.

We will soon upload some pictures to document the latest work that has been done.

In the world, the past months have been rich in economical events. The morgage crisis that started in the USA in 2007 turned into a financial crisis that quickly spread internationally. It then turned into a full blown economical crisis. We learned that the USA have been in recession for more than a year. Europe and Asia followed. The outlook for 2009 doesn't look good.

Of course, Serbia is not immune. Everybody already saw that credit is much harder to get and foreign investment has slowed down a lot. Paradoxally, the fact that Serbia is not yet well integrated into the global financial system is rather an asset at the moment.

We recognize that financial stress will increase on everybody and we adjusted several times our prices down to take some of that stress out of buyers shoulders. With the current prices, Amadeo offers unbelievable value for the price. Having a geothermal heating and cooling system and solar hot water is a fantastic insurance for the future. The recent gas cut off and the announcement that gas price and district heating price will go steep up just show what one can expect with the future of energy.
